JumpingClay does not crack, crumble, stick, or stain and is scented with a hint of jasmine. It can easily be mixed into any color as easily as mixing paint. It is light weight, soft to touch and easy to work with for any age group. No glue is required when sticking the parts together.
No firing. No baking. No oven! JumpingClay air dries without cracking, shrinking, or discoloring. It becomes even lighter when it dries, just as light as foam, and even bounces! If the clay hasn't fully dried, it can be brought back to its pliable state by spraying with water and kneading.
It is a unique non-toxic modeling clay, made of all natural fillers that has passed all US safety regulations and numerous other safety tests from around the world. While we don't recommend that you eat it, it is harmless if accidentally ingested!
It can be used to create any model or character, pictures and dioramas, fridge magnets, decorations, key chains, and even an imprint of a new baby’s hand or foot.

When making shapes out of Jumping Clay, always start with a ball
Everything can be made from three basic shapes: the ball, the sausage, and the teardrop
The longer you roll Jumping Clay the smoother the surface will get
When mixing colors, pull and stretch the colors until the desired color is uniform throughout
If the clay feels a bit dry, spray with water and fold and stretch the clay to get it back to its soft pliable state. Do not soak in water or run water over it
If clay pieces do not stick to each other (if it has dried a bit), wet the area that you want the clay to stick to with a little bit of water and place the piece on
If the clay has stuck to the packaging (or under your fingernails!), take a small piece of clay and pull the stuck pieces off by attaching the small piece and then quickly pulling away from the package
How is JumpingClay different from other clay?
It is light weight and simply air dries without the need to bake. Finished crafts don't crumble or crack and maintain their bright colors.
Is Jumping Clay safe?
Yes! Jumping Clay is made of non-toxic water soluble filler and is not harmful to the human body. Therefore, it is safe for kids. While we don't suggest you eat it, it is harmless if accidentally ingested!
Can I paint on the clay?
It is possible, but not advisable as the paint does not stick well to the clay. JumpingClay comes in nine bright basic colors that can be blended together to form a wide variety of colors and tones. Hence, you can achieve the color effect without the need to paint. See the color mixing chart at the bottom of the page.
How long will the finished craft take to dry?
This depends on the size and thickness of the object and room temperature. Generally, smaller objects will take about a day or two to dry completely. Sunlight or air conditioned areas will also help speed up drying time.
Do I need to use glue to join pieces together?
As long as the clay is moist, they can be adhered together without the use of any adhesive. If clay pieces do not stick to each other (if it has dried a bit), wet the area that you want the clay to stick to with a little bit of water and place the piece on.
Can I re-use the clay after it is completely formed and hardened?
No. Once hardened and air-dried, the object is permanent. It can then be used as decorative art pieces or ornaments.
Will JumpingClay stain my hands?
Jumping Clay does not stain, unless your hands are wet. Just wash with soap and water to clean your hands. If the clay sticks to the hands or gets under your fingernails, it can be easily removed by dabbing it with another piece of clay.
Is JumpingClay waterproof?
No. However, applying a coat of varnish may help. It can be purchased at most craft stores. We highly recommend our customers to apply a coat of varnish when making jewelry.
Can we draw on the clay?
Yes. You may use a permanent marker/pen to add some finishing touches to your art pieces. You can even use permanent marker to add a name and date to a special craft or ornament!
How do I store the unused clay?
After using, keep the unused portion in an air tight container to prevent it from drying. Also avoid extreme heat or cold.
I opened a packet and the clay appears to be very sticky. How do I handle the clay?
The clay is sticky when fresh. If the clay is sticky, remove only the portion of the clay that you wish to use and leave it exposed for about three to five minutes. Thereafter, the clay should have a nice texture and be ready for use. Remember to seal or keep airtight any unused portion of clay.
